Zur Ausstellung:

Ein Kreis hat keinen Anfang, kein Ende, keine Ecken, keine Seiten. Es schränkt nicht ein, obwohl es Form gibt. In ihm und außerhalb ist alles in Bewegung, es ist auch der Nullpunkt, von dem aus alles beginnt und zu dem alles irgendwann zurückkehrt. Es ruft zum Handeln auf, symbolisiert Zeitzyklen, die Bewegung der Planeten um die Sonne, Ganzheit, Erfüllung, Konzentration, Zusammengehörigkeit, Perfektion, Revolution und Evolution. Es besteht ein klarer Zusammenhang mit der Gebärmutter der Mutter, dem Fötus, dem Samen, der Zelle. Psychologisch gesehen ermöglicht uns der Kreis, uns selbst, also unser „Ich“, in ein universelles, grenzenloses Schema des Universums einzuprägen und uns so mit allen Lebewesen gleichzusetzen, sogar mit allem, was uns umgibt. Genau das tue ich auch, indem ich „mich“ – meine Gedanken, Gefühle, ihre Weltanschauung – in einem Kreis in das Bild einpräge. Dabei nutze ich unterschiedliche Medien und Techniken und erkunde dabei die unendlichen Varianten des
Spiels mit einem Kreis. Durch Serialität und Multiplikation derselben Form erreiche ich
eine ausgeprägte Dynamik des Bildes.

A circle has no beginning, no end, no corners, no pages. It does not limit, although it gives form. In it and outside of it, everything is in motion, it is also the zero from which everything starts and to which everything eventually returns. It calls for action, symbolizes time cycles, the movement of planets around the Sun, totality, fulfillment, focus, togetherness, perfection, revolution, and evolution. There is a clear association with the mother's womb, the fetus, the seed, the cell. Psychologically speaking, the circle allows us to imprint ourselves, that is, our "I", into one universal, boundless scheme of the universe and, thus, to equate ourselves with all living beings, even all that surrounds us. This is exactly what I do as well, imprinting "myself" – my thoughts, emotions, her worldview, in a circle within the picture. I do this using a variety of media and techniques, exploring the infinity of variants of playing with a circle.
By seriality and multiplication of the same shape, I achieve a distinct dynamic of the image.
